META built a modern distribution center for CAR GmbH & Co. KG to store wear and replacement parts for commercial vehicles and passenger cars. The goal was to combine well-organized storage, reliable processes, and efficient use of the available space.

The facility features a three-story META MULTIFLOOR shelving system with a vertical conveyor. The solution is supplemented by a META MULTIPAL pallet racking system, including a hazardous materials storage area. This creates additional storage capacity and short handling distances during order picking.

The combination of the various racking systems unites structure, safety, and high storage capacity. META supported the project from planning through implementation, thereby creating a high-performance foundation for CAR’s daily logistics operations.
